Unfortunately, we've got a couple of issues, Your Mac Life-wise.

As many of you know, our forums are down awaiting some behind the scenes maintenance of the database. And, on my end of things, Flickr just isn't working out for me. :(

I tried using their app to batch upload but it kept crashing. Then I tried uploading using the browser and it was painfully slow. Finally, I really don't like the presentation of multiple pics in Flickr so I'm going back to my old standby, WebPics.

I had a great interview with Richard Kerris of Apple, talking about all the cool announcements with Apple and Your Mac Life was the first to get an audio interview with Adobe regarding their acquistion of Macromedia! I'm going to try and get snippets of that one on the site by later today.

We've got even more interviews to do this afternoon and all day on Tuesday. We should have a great show ready for you on Wednesday evening! Until then, enjoy this latest batch of photos from the show floor!

Finally! I made it!

Woke up bright eyeed and bushy tailed early this morning to get to the show floor in order to get media registration over with. Got every thing organized and headed downstairs.

The trip from the room to the elevators is almost *50* yards....just what you want 1st thing in the morning......And, because the hotel is full of "NAB'ers" all leaving at the same time, it's a milk run as the elevator stops on every floor on the way down.....

In the hotel lobby, there is a "coffee shop" - I would call it a place where they rob you and give you doughnuts. *$3.50* for a cup of coffee. "Breakfast", which consisted of a coffee, bottle of water and a croissant, cost $10.00......

I began to think about how I would describe this to the audience when I realized, I left my recording gear in the room.....DOH!....back up I go.

Thanks to the folks at NAPP, I hitch a ride in their town car. Their booth is in the South Hall so they dropped me off at the North Hall.

First mistake....

Thanks to my co-host J, I've discovered the joys of Flickr!

So for the trip to NAB in Vegas starting on Sunday, I am going to supplement our usual photo gallery with a "FlickrBlog".

In the past, when taking pics with the Sony DSC-F828, I would take the pic but then have to get to the computer, download the pics off the camera onto the HD, manipulate them, put them in the web app and then upload them.

While I will still do that (the Sony takes *much* better pics than the Moto Rzr!), I also wanted to do "InstaPics" - that is, take the pic, caption it and post it right away. I've been testing Flickr out for a few days and I think I'll be able to do that all next week.

So, keep an eye on the site beginning tomorrow for our "NAB InstaPics from Flickr"!
