The ITMS is a behemoth of a store. It's filled with page after page of artists from near and far.
The Podcast section is just as diverse (if not as big). For those of us stuck at a desk, here's a few you might want to check out...

Got a new iMac? You need a rearview mirror
Two things I have learned to loathe working in the corporate world: 1. People walking into my cube and hovering over my shoulder. 2. People walking into my cube, hovering and scaring me because I didn't know they were there. Fortunately, I've got an iMac G5 with a built-in iSight camera....
Gizmo project : a rant and an apology
Ladies and gentlemen... don't use this app! I installed it earlier to take a look at what other Skype-style competitors are out there. Gizmo Project seemed to offer quite a lot including Google maps, landline dialing and conference calling. Downloading and installation were easy. Setting up an account was easy...until... it asked to import my address book. "How smart" I thought to myself, "It will make it easier to set up buddy lists, etc". Those of you who are IN my address book now have an email that was automatically sent upon import.
That email makes a request for the recipient to download Gizmo as if it were the best thing ever. My apologies to anyone who received that email...all THREE HUNDRED of you! In conclusion, I'd just like to point out that programs shoudl *not* do this by default...and...even as someone who has seen a few things out there on the intraweb, I got duped. My apologies.
Flickr photo books & posters!

Around The Intraweb : Get your news like a King
A long time ago, in the mind of Tim Berners-Lee, the world wide web was born. It was white, pristine and had very little useful information. Today, some twenty years later, it's a mess of pages and topics and FAQs. The expanse of the internet has had a (perhaps) negative our ability to find real information, stories and news...until now. |
