The Your Mac Life site, especially the forums, has begun to bog down again. So we are going to dump the old forum software and install new stuff this weekend.

Don't panic!

The old forum posts won't be deleted but the forums will be locked down sometime Friday afternoon. We'll start the process Fridday evening.

The other good news is that you will most likely *not* have to reregister on the new forums. keep your fingers crossed. :)

It's great to be back, though while I was gone, I had the pleasure of having dinner with one our listeners, Miss Tiffani Barnes. Tiffani was born and raised in Longview, about 50 mins from where my Mom lives deep in the piney woods of East Texas. Tiffani had emailed me when she heard me talking about East Texas on the show, and we've been iChatting each other ever since. It was great fun to get to spend a little time with a fellow NASA buff-ette ;)
