iPod Shuffle Arrived!

Hi Lisa, Shawn and Jay,

Just listening to last nights show as I am getting ready for work
where Lesa was talking about the new shuffle. Well, just as you were
talking about that, the door bell rang and the Fedex guy had my brand
new shuffle for me. I opened it up and it is so cool! AS usual,
everything is so well designed and packed... yet another apple box I
am going to have to keep!

It is tiny, just a little bigger than a toonie, the Canadian $2 coin!
I have plugged it in and it is now downloading songs as we speak...

Also, it does allow you to partition the space into data and song
space. It has a limiting factor for Max volume (something a metal
head would NEVER use! Does an automatic down conversion of songs
DOWN to 128 kbps, so if you have some songs, like my classical
collection, it can maximize the number of songs while maximizing the
total number on the shuffle.

It looks really cool and I can't wait to use it.... but my home
system is an upgraded sawtooth so my USB connections are only 1.1 and
that is really SLOW.. I am about 2/3 of the way through filling it up!

....hmmm.... maybe I will have to get the new 2.66 GHz Quad Core Mac
Pro to replace my sawtooth.... ummm... just to increase the speed of
downloads to my new shuffle! I wonder if I can sell that to Shelley?

I will let you know how it works and sounds when it finishes
downloading.... damn... 15 minutes and still going... where is my
AMEX card.... I definitely need the Mac Pro.... I don''t think she
will see that slipped into the reno expenses!
