The Graphic Reporter's Tip of the Week

On last night's show I talked about how using the Cookie Cutter tool and Custom Shapes in Elements can produce fun photo frames. The default shapes aren't too exciting, but the 100s of extras just waiting to be loaded into Elements are really neat. Hope you enjoy the tutorial!
Widget of the Week goes to TheDailyGrind.
Until next week, may the creative force be with you :)

Greg brought home a new MacBook Pro that he had to set up for someone at work. Maybe I’m easily entertained in my bedridden state, but it was lots of fun...at least until we realized that it was DOA. It did not start up easily, it did not wake from sleep and it would go to sleep any old time it felt like it, no matter what we tried. Fortunately, its replacement behaved much better...but here are the pictures of the first unveiling...

The Graphic Reporter's Tip of the Week

On last night's show I talked about how to apply a super fast spotlight to a portrait, highlighting the subject of your image. It literally takes two steps! As a bonus, I also posted my top 11 (no 17!) favorite Photoshop and Elements keyboard shortcuts. Plus I'll show you a way of making the CS apps build a web page of *all* the keyboard shortcuts they contain. Hope you enjoy the tutorials!
Widget of the Week goes to The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition! I am *so* loving this widget.
Until next week, may the force be with you :)

The Kings in DC
Contributed by: Shawn

Shawn and Lesa had a wonderful "1st leg" of the honeymoon last week - they rode their motorcycle 1600+ miles, roundtrip, from their home in Nashville, TN to Washington, DC.
Along the way, they had some great meals, some German beer, occasional *horrible* weather, suicidal squirrels and travelled some beautiful roads.
