Which version of Quicktime are you using?

Using 7.0.4. Not happy with the performance. Plan on wiping HD and
reinstalling OS and using 6.5 of QuickTime. To be fair with Apple I am still
running an older iMac DV. 7 runs poorly and 6.5 rocks. Never had a problem
till I updated to 7. I'm guessing that 7 is heavy on the system resources.
