I had intended to do more shopping online, but as the budget's kind of
tight I didn't want to buy low cost gifts and have to pay a significant fraction of the gift's cost for shipping. There are place that have free shipping but there's usually a minimum purchase to qualify. I also had some store discount coupons to use up. I did send some Audible gift certificates out via email to a few people who are tech savvy enough to use them. --- Bah, Humbug! How much of your Holiday Shopping did you do online this years?

I did some shopping but I have not had any deliveries.
A book and a video game for my son from Amazon intended for Christmas are due in February. I cancelled the priority shipping of course. I was a little miffed that it was not automatically cancelled given the 45 day expected delay. If I find the game and book in town I'll cancel the rest too. No basketball shoes either but that is eBay and models that are not available here at twice the cost. In future I am going to avoid online shopping. The best combo is online catalogue order to local bricks and mortar retail outlet. --- "The universe is a spheroid region, 705 meters in diameter." Not only did it save time, but since I entered vendor sites through the
Upromise site (upromise.com) I got money deposited into Kate's college fund at the same time. Whoo Hoo! --- living randomly since...well, let's just say long enough. |

either baked or handmade.
And just a few of them were purchased in a store.
I've received 2 of Greg's 3 presents and am hoping that the 3rd one comes
through today.
