It's Showtime - Apple Media Event

My screwup notwithstanding, Apple has (finally) announced the media event we "predicted" on last week's show.

Colin Crawford writes:
"After rampant speculation Apple finally accounced its special, invite only, media event to be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. With the "showtime" subject matter the theme will obviously be around movies and T shows. /

"Will this be the rumored streaming or download movies service from Apple - potentially coupled with a new video iPod? Let the speculation intensify!"

looks like all there is is a graphic with an Apple logo...

No link to Apple, no mention of where this graphic came from...

No Date...

Sound like your "scoop" but with a graphic, what gives?

I should have made it clear who the owner of the linked web site is. When in
doubt, you can always read the web site's author's "About Me" page. :)

Colin Crawford is Senior Vice President Online, for IDG Communications. He
used to be President of Mac Publishing, the group that owns Macworld
magazine and MacCentral.com.

He *doesn't* do rumors. :)

Yeah, I did read his about page and was going to update my remark to include
info about the superb credibility of the source... but then more information started
appeared via Peter Cohen and MacCentral - so I thought it didn't matter any
more.

Google News is a wonderful tool, when its put to the right use it's amazing what you unearth: http://tinyurl.com/gx3nh. This is just to solidify what Shawn already posted, when in actuality how much more validity is needed when apple news is posted on the number one Mac broadcast!

Well, the iMac "horses" have left the barn. Does that mean this event is gonna be
all about the a/v? Hmmmm...
