Final Cut Tips.com
I have had this domain for a little while now, and it was not until today that I was ever serious about doing something with it. Announcing Final Cut Tips. Final Cut Tips.com is kind of like Graphic Reporter.com just its for video, not graphics.

So far there are three articles up, thats because I have only done three pieces. The URL is www.finalcuttips.com. I would love your feedback on the site.

If you have any questions concerning Final Cut Pro, or video feel free to email me at [email protected].

" My third favarite and one of the most useful is a shourtcut for the razor blade. The shourcut is simple, it's just B. Type B and your tool will be switched to the razor blade and you are ready to make a cut in your sequence. It really saves you time. With out it everytime you want to make a cut with the razor blade you have to move your mouse across the screen to select it. a nd if you have more then one screen, that might take you a couple secounds."

Check Spelling!
Also A quick way to split the clip at the playhead in the timeline is to hit Control "V" thus not even bothering with the blade tool.

I posted it directly from my script which I don't care to either spell check or try
hard to spell. Now that I have the site there will be no more spelling mistakes
(not as many as there have been).

The razor blade can make cuts to either the video and audio separately and I
don't belive that splitting the clip at the playhead will let you split the audio or
video independently.

Sure it will depending on which auto select track you have on or off and if you
have the tracks linked or not although for audio splits only you will need to select
the audio clip.
