There Are a Lot of Intel-compiled Programs!
Mabye Apple's transition to Intel CPUs won't be so bad after all! I have just finished putting to together a list of programs that are compiled to run o future Intel Macs! Looks like Apple is making it easy to port applications! BBEdit and iTattle are on the list.

Those of us who have been paying attention never thought it would be bad to begin with.

Seems to me the biggest problems are the ones that the programmers
make for themselves by not following the OS guidelines like when told not
to rely on certain APIs as they may be removed in the future and then
using them anyway.

I have to laugh at the, "But they'll have to recompile all their code!" panics.
Don't developers recompile all the time as they write the next release?
The big question is going to be will developers offer cheap or free
recompiled updates for current versions or will they wait and roll it into the
next version. I suppose it depends on how well Rosetta works with the
old code.

Holy crap, both of my new programs are featured to on the page. Almost peed
myself a little when the page loaded and I saw iTattle and Widget Master listed
at the top. Thanks Apple.
