Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM) announced that it has made current episodes of its science fiction television dramas Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis available for purchase and download through Apple’s iTunes Music Store.

The company is offering the first five episodes of Stargate SG1 Season 10 and Stargate Atlantis Season 3 for download. Subsequent episodes for both series will be available for purchase within 24 hours of airing on the Sci-Fi Channel cable television network.

Did you hear that Sci-Fi channel is threatening viewers that there will be no season 11 of Star Gate SG1 unless people start watching it live? Apparently, they are trying to force people to stop Tivo-ing.

I wonder how that'll work out for them

It's no longer a threat - they've cancelled it.
