|
|
Full Tilt Poker recently rebuilt their client software.
Miraculously, not only did they upgrade their Mac client at the same time, but they also make the move from PowerPC to Universal Binary.
If you play poker online on a Mac, that is good news. It's one of the extremely few sites that supports Macs.
I recently installed Parallels Desktop on my Macbook Pro so I could play poker on some of the PC sites. I've been playing on PokerStars and was about to make a deposit to PartyPoker. However, because of this show of support for the Mac platform, I am going to make that deposit to Full Tilt instead.
They support me, and I'll support them. _________________ Save the cheerleader, save the world. |

| What is the legality of Poker online. I think it is Washington State that just passed legislation specifically against it...? |

It depends on who you ask. The problem is, the technology has outstripped the laws.
That having been said, thousands of people play online and play online for money every day in the US. |

Washington is having some issues with online gambling but they are IMO overstepping their bounds with this little crusade they got going on..

We did - at PokerRoom.com but their software was painful to use. We haven't found another Mac friendly site that allows you to create private rooms/tables. |

Yeah, I use to play at pokerroom and though it was ok untill I started playing with a few people who were using Windows and they would see the cards about 2-3 seconds (if not longer), before I did, so I wound up buying a used PC for real cheap and now I have access to ALL the poker sites and it's like night and day. It's REAL refreshing playing on the PC. Super quick. Plus, all the tracking/stat software such as PokerOffice are only available on Windows.
