Huh? Ok, I gotta admit, you lost me. I'm not sure what your response means.

Let me restate my original point: Adding that last line turned me off to reading or listening to what you've posted. The idea that "This is THE STORY... that brings the truth to light" seems to implicitly negate the validity of other stories and indicate that there's an agenda that this story furthers. If you'd like to speak to that, please do.

Obviously, I haven't read the story, but it seems to have a negative tone to it. I believe there has been a lot of good that has happened during and after the hurricane, and I don't think it gets nearly the attention that the negative does. The fact that this good exists negates the idea that this other story is "the truth", as in, the singular, authoritative account.

Additionally, I wish you wouldn't presume to know what I'm thinking. I do want to, and have, actively considered the questions surrounding the hurricane and it's aftermath. I've considered them with family, friends, and coworkers, actively and openly. I have as good an idea as anyone 850 miles away can have about the situation.
